Ginger Turmeric Tea

Serves 6

Prep time 15 minutes

3 inches fresh ginger peeled

1 cup water

Place ginger and water in blender. Blend until smooth. Strain liquid through tea strainer. Place ginger concentrate in teapot with following ingredients:

1 cup almond milk, heated

2 cups water, heated

1 1/2 tsp turmeric

1/4 tsp cardamom

1/8 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp vanilla

2 Tbsp real maple syrup

Serve hot or cold.
